THE ROAD AHEAD

With the launch of the Second Decade of Action on Road Safety (2021 – 2030), The United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy, along with the SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research for Road Safety has launched a publication, titled ‘The Road Ahead – 26 voices for safe and sustainable mobility’. Written by a selection of leading specialists, members of government and other promoters of road safety such as Michelle Yeoh, Princess Charlene of Monaco, Thomas Bach, Mayors of Paris and Bogota, this publication seeks to dramatically fuel and broaden awareness and engagement to tackle the global road safety crisis, which in far too many countries and corners of this world remains invisible.
