The blind seamstress

'THE BLIND SEAMSTRESS' is the first in the anthology of 5 books built on exploring the five senses as an attempt to inspirit children to use their senses to explore the world. The Blind Seamstress explores ‘touch’ and since it’s the story of a seamstress, I have used embroidery as the technique to tell it. The seamstress called ‘Dori’, Hindi for ‘threads’ is born blind but has the power to extract colours from anything she touches and uses those colors to dye her fabrics.
